Frequently asked questions
Are the plugins really free?
Yes. There is no paid version, usage cap or locked feature. The code is GPL: use it on as many sites as you like, including client sites.
Do I need a Contentor account?
No. To download we only ask for your name, email and WhatsApp; after that the plugins work with no account at all. Contentor only appears as a small box on each plugin’s settings screen.
Do the plugins collect data from my site?
No. No plugin sends data to Contentor. The ones that talk to external services (Google, OpenRouter, Serper, IndexNow) do it with your own credentials, and each readme explains what is sent.
Do they work with Yoast, Rank Math and other SEO plugins?
Yes. They complement your SEO plugin: they read the focus keyword and meta description from Yoast, Rank Math and SEOPress when available and avoid duplicate schema and tags.
Which WordPress and PHP versions are supported?
WordPress 6.2 or later and PHP 7.4 or later. All of them work in the block editor (Gutenberg).
